Baby Sandals - "Twinkle Toes"

34
I love sweet baby feet and the summer is the perfect time to show them off...but I love accessories so I wanted to have something on my baby's sweet feet, even during the summer!

So introducing..."Twinkle Toes!" They are baby sandals and I'm kind of in love with them! Aren't they just the cutest little sandals you've ever seen?! Possibly the cutest baby accessory ever?!

I have made a few of these and have done some with flowers like is shown above, or with a bow too...

I think both are so adorable! Don't you want these for your sweet baby's feet?

If you are feeling ambitious, and you want to make these yourself, I am including a tutorial for you.

However, if you have no desire to make them and simply want to adorn your baby's feet with them, I would be happy to make some for you! You can specify elastic color white, pink, turquoise, brown, and beige. You can also specify pretty much any color of bow or flower you want...just let me know, they are made to order!

You can find these at my brand new Etsy Shop Along Came A Flower! (There are also other items in the shop that I have featured on this blog previously that are available for purchase also.) So if you would like to purchase them, stop reading and hurry and go here... :) And if you are local, feel free to message me on facebook and order there!

You can also follow this blog, then head over to Along Came A Flower on facebook. "Like" the page, "Share" the offer, AND leave a comment on what color combo you want and be entered to win one of your own!

If you are interested in making little Twinkle Toes yourself, keep reading...

Materials Needed:

19 inches of elastic
Sewing Machine
Thread
Material for flower or ribbon for bow
hot glue

Cut two pieces of elastic at 9 1/2 inches

Next, manipulate the elastic into a figure 8. Be careful that the right side of the elastic will show all the way around. Sew the ends together and then sew in the middle of the 8 so it stays in place.

Next, make your bow or flower and glue onto the elastic.

Then, find your favorite little feet to put them on and enjoy!

***WARNING*** you will be stopped by people constantly and receive multiple comments and compliments on your baby's perfectly accessorized feet!

The tutorial for Twinkle Toes that is provided is for individual use only and not intended to be used for profit.
